WOLF (Game Boy Color)

GAME OVERVIEW

WOLF is a tense first-person action game built for Game Boy Color.

Its custom raycasting engine transforms the humble handheld into a maze of textured corridors, bold colour palettes, and lurking enemies. Every level brings its own visual identity, from stark industrial passages to vivid neon chambers.

Behind its chunky presentation, WOLF is an ambitious technical showcase, combining procedural maps, textured walls, depth shading, animated effects, and responsive combat. It is tense, immediate, colourful, and unmistakably Game Boy.

GAMEPLAY

The gameplay in WOLF is elegantly simple: hunt down and kill the required number of enemies, recover the Exit Key, and push onward before your limited health runs out.

Note: The Radar, Level Number, Enemy Quota, and your Health Points are displayed at the bottom of the screen.

You start the game with three Health Points - and you're certainly going to need them.

ENEMIES

Enemies patrol, pursue, and fire projectiles that can be dodged at the last moment. Don't be a hero: when the enemy quota reaches zero, head for the exit.

RADAR

The overhead radar helps you navigate the ever-shifting level layouts. Should you manage to collect the Radar pickup, you'll also be able to see the enemy positions...

CONTROLS

MENUS:

• A and B buttons: Select menu item.

IN-GAME:

• Dpad: Rotate/move/strafe.
• A Button: Tap to fire bullets.
• B button: Hold and use Dpad left/right to strafe.
• START Button: Tap to pause/un-pause the game.
