- There are now 15 levels to explore, compared to the original 10.
- Your journey now begins in The Wilderness, a new area outside the dungeon.
- There are 80 additional room variations and numerous visual improvements to the background tiles.
- Secret rooms are easier to discover with additional visual cues.
- New monsters await in the depths of the dungeon to challenge you, including Old Thang, Oogles and Bluethulhu.
- Snark and Skorpeeo monsters can now poison you. If you are poisoned a skull appears in the effect area.
- New types of potions have been added, including Invisibility, Regeneration, Confuse Monsters
- Treasure chests can now spawn Divine Intervention, a rare item that revives you once if you die.
- Upgrade gems now blink when spawning into a room, making them easier to see.
- The Rogue's Teleportation ability has been improved: it now teleports you close to a door, does not cost a turn to use, and activates a new Backstab ability.
- The Rogue has a new Backstab ability: after teleporting, Rogue has maximum class damage and very high chance to hit, for 4 turns.
- Some balance adjustments have been made: Camazotz no longer takes damage from spikes, acid and fire, and Sluggoth no longer takes damage from acid.
- A high score table allows you to track your top five scores, including the character you were playing, the level reached, and the potions that were in play.
- High scores for completed runs will have a star mark next to them.
- Achievements give you optional challenges to complete across all your runs. Some are obvious, others less so!
- There are several new music tracks, composed by Jogeir Liljedahl; you can hear them as you progress through the different levels of the dungeon.
- There are new sound effects to accompany the other new features.
- The title screen has new animations and the in-game background image has been improved.
- Player and monster animations have been upgraded.
- Plus numerous quality of life tweaks and improvements...

I purchased the game a few months ago. You said then that you will release a PDF manual. Is it ready for download? I would love to get one. Thanks!
Got this working on my Gamestation Go using the lha file and uae4arm libretro core, works great!
That looks lovely!
I see you are doing a ZX version, any chance of putting that on a colecovision?
I've purchased the game but so far have been unable to get it to run. I'm ideally trying to play it on the A500 mini but only end up with a black screen after the WHDload screens appear. I've tried all sorts of things, even renaming the uae file as the one included is called "Roguecraft_DX_WHDLoad_1.8_ol.uae" whilst the LHA is "Roguecraft_DX_WHDLoad_1.8.lha" so I removed the "_ol" at the end of the filename but Ive had no luck. I've tried running it in WinUAE with no luck either and Amiga Forever just comes up with a "data invalid" warning when I try to open the lha file. Any help or guidance would be very much appreciated!
The README file includes a troubleshooting section, including the A500 Mini. We suggest re-downloading the files and following the troubleshooting guide.
Wow! A new DX physical version coming soon. Is there an email list I can subscribe to so as to know when the physical version will be available?
I previously purchased the original Rougecraft physical version and would love to get this updated version too.
I am also looking for the physical Evercade version if you know where I can still get a copy.
All the best!

lovely game with some very nice improvements … maybe one day a character Editor? :) I would love to be an undead skeleton human Rogue!! Ok… I’ll admit, I’d love the chance to add a host of Bloodwych characters!
Great Game! It Look so good on old ECS Agnus 8375 Amigas. Runs fast on my A2000 with 030 and lot of additional RAM. I miss a Save Funktion for old Man. 🤷🏻♂️ I will never see higher Levels.
