INTRODUCTION

The Pocket Collection is a premium compilation comprising ten critically-acclaimed Game Boy Color games from indie studio Rocketship Park.

Take on the alien onslaught in the Starseed series, burn some rubber with Nitro, Hoonigans, and Hero GP, spelunk to your heart's content in Cave Dave, or take a puzzle break with Block Droppin', Word Forward, and Sequence.

The collection also includes DMG versions of Block Droppin' and Word Forward for the ultimate Game Boy purist.

That's it. Go play.


CONTROLS

The Pocket Collection can be controlled using a PC-compatible controller, mouse, or via the keyboard.

GAME SELECTOR

  • Use a controller, mouse, or cursor keys to choose an item.
  • Use the A button, Left Mouse Button, or Enter to select an item.
  • Use the Y button or T to change the filter.
  • Use Select+Start or Esc to exit the program.


IN-GAME

During gameplay, the A, B, SELECT, and START buttons on the controller act exactly as they would on an actual Game Boy.

  • A button / Z 
  • B button / X
  • SELECT / Shift
  • START / Enter (Return)
  • LB/RB button / T to change shader
  • SELECT+START / Esc to quit
  • Y button / H for Help

Note: During gameplay, the LB and RB buttons (shoulder buttons) are used to select the shader type (LCD, Grid, Scanline, CRT or No Shader).

BONUS EXTRAS

Each game includes additional extras which can be viewed by choosing EXTRAS once a game has been selected from the Game Selector. The bonus extras include various behind-the-scenes snapshots, including design mockups, early versions of the game, schematics from GB Studio, and code snippets.


RUNNING THE GAME

The Pocket Collection is a self-contained executable file designed to run on PC systems which meet or exceed the Minimum System Requirements (see below). Simply extract the file to a suitable location on your hard drive and double-click to run.
